WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump announced he was launching a “war” on his political rivals, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, former President Bill Clinton and his own party rival Jeb Bush at a campaign meeting in South Carolina.
“We view this as a war,” Trump told a packed audience in Hilton Head, South Carolina on Wednesday. “Don't we view this as war?… It's war.”
Trump noted that Hillary Clinton and her husband, as well as former Florida governor Bush, were his “enemies” in the race to succeed Barak Obama as US president.
Trump also told his audience he would love for the United States to have a woman president, but he then added that it could not be Clinton because “she's horrible.”
A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that showed Trump losing a national election to Clinton among women voters by 33 to 57 percent, but defeating her among male voters by 48 to 43 percent.
