"Our two countries stood at the origins of the GECF. And we hope that now, when the natural gas production and trade face an important challenge, we will strengthen our coordination in this international organization", Naryshkin said at a meeting with Qatari Emir Tamim Hamad al-Thani in Moscow.
He added that Russia positively assessed investment cooperation between the two sides, in particular, cooperation between the Qatar Investment Authority, the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the VTB bank.
