WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The airstrike near Syria’s Dayr Ar Zawr, carried out on Wednesday, destroyed Daesh cranes, according to the release.
"In Syria, coalition military forces conducted one strike using fighter aircraft," CENTCOM stated.
The coalition conducted 15 airstrikes on Wednesday near seven Iraqi cities to the north and west of Baghdad, including Mosul, Ramadi and Sinjar.
"Separately in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted 15 strikes coordinated with and in support of the Government of Iraq using attack, fighter, and remotely piloted aircraft against ISIL [Daesh] targets."
The strikes destroyed multiple Daesh tactical units and fighting positions, as well as other infrastructure, such as an improvised explosive device factory and a command and control nodes.
