GENEVA (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, another HNC spokesman Monzer Makhous said that the delegates were not planning a formal meeting with de Mistura on Monday, but might send him a written statement.
"We had a really good meeting with Mr. de Mistura, things are positive. We received positive messages, we will meet again tomorrow," Salem Meslet told reporters.
The head and the chief negotiator of the High Negotiations Committee (HNC) representing the Riyadh-formed Syrian opposition will join the talks in Geneva on Monday, a HNC spokesperson told Sputnik.
"Yes, they will be here with us on Monday," Salem Meslet said, answering the question on whether the HNC head and the chief negotiator will join the talks.
