MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Austria has agreed to allow the entry of Russian lawmakers, including those under sanctions, to attend a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA), a member of the the Russian delegation said Thursday.
"The situation is as follows: with a diplomatic passport we formally do not need a visa. We have an Austrian Foreign Ministry note saying that persons listed in it, including those subject to sanctions, are allowed to enter for the [OSCE PA] session. This was a response to a note by the Russian Foreign Ministry," parliament member Nikolay Kovalev told RIA Novosti.
