MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Top managers of about 76 percent of UK firms and 83 percent of German firms share similar stance in opposing the so-called Brexit, the Bertelsmann Foundation revealed in a poll.
Just over 31 percent of those surveyed said that Brexit would have a negative impact on their business' investments in the three subsequent years, according to the survey.
Around 50 percent of the senior businesspeople believe that Brexit would be "neutral" in its impact on turnover, investment and jobs. About 29 percent believe that Brexit would negatively impact jobs in their company, according to the poll.
Britain is expected to hold a referendum on its EU membership in June. Ahead of the vote, UK Prime Minister David Cameron is seeking to revise the terms of his country's membership of the bloc.
