The two sides discussed the future purchase of various Russian aircraft systems, with reports stating that they agreed to sign a deal for the Su-30SM multirole fighter sometime later this year. Mr. Dehghan’s Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, was pleased with the meeting and said that it signaled a – quote – “high level of trust”.
