SAROV (Russia) (Sputnik) — The construction of two more units of the Bushehr nuclear power plant, built with Russia's assistance in Iran, will start in the near future, the head of Russia's Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation said Friday.
"We are coordinating the date with our Iranian colleagues, everything is basically ready, we are about to complete the survey of the seismological situation," Sergey Kiriyenko said.
In November 2014, Russia and Iran signed several agreements on the construction of two nuclear reactor units at the Bushehr NPP, using Russian technology, with the possibility of building six more in the future.
