MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and Director-General of Israel's Foreign Ministry Dore Gold held a meeting in Moscow, noting the need to coordinate international efforts against terrorism, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
"An exchange of opinions took place on the current situation in the Middle East and North Africa, with a focus on countering terrorism and extremism. Both sides noted the need to consolidate the international community's efforts in the fight against this global challenge," the ministry said in a statement.
