Singapore Authorities Deport Indonesians Suspected of Links to Daesh

The Singapore authorities announced on Tuesday the deportation of four Indonesians suspected of links to Daesh terrorist organization, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to The Straits Times, Indonesian national police chief Badrodin Haiti said the four detained were linked to radical ideologue Aman Abdurrahman who could be involved in the mid-January attack in Jakarta.

Migration officials are said to have detained four citizens of Indonesia on January 21 who were planning to go to Syria and Iraq to join the Islamists.

On January 14, a series of explosions hit Indonesia’s capital, leaving at least seven people dead and another 26 injured. According to National Police spokesman Anton Charliyan, law enforcement authorities of Indonesia have identified four out of five terrorist, all of whom died in the attacks.
