MINSK (Sputnik) — Russia and Belarus agreed on Thursday to improve the coordination of joint actions in the area of macroeconomic regulation to ensure economic stability of the Russia-Belarus Union State, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We agreed to strengthen coordination in issues of macroeconomic regulation to ensure stable and sustainable economic development of the Union State facing really unfavorable external trends," Putin said at a joint news conference with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko following a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Russia-Belarus Union State in Minsk.
