ZURICH (Sputnik) – Canover Watson from the Cayman Islands was dismissed on Friday through a vote at the FIFA Extraordinary Congress in Zurich due to an ongoing criminal investigation in the organization.

Watson's dismissal was upheld by 196 (99%) of the 207 members eligible to vote, with only two votes against his dismissal.
