WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — "Let’s put it this way, I’m certainly leaning [toward endorsement]," Carson said in an interview with Fox News radio.
Carson suggested that Trump would make a much better president that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"There’s the Donald Trump that you see on television and who gets out in front of big audiences, and there’s the Donald Trump behind the scenes," Carson argued. "They’re not the same person."
Following the interview, local media reported that Carson will officially endorse Trump on Friday morning.
