MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian embassy in Cote d'Ivoire has not yet received any information on whether Russian citizens have been injured in attacks on two hotels on Sunday, an embassy representative said.
According to media reports, the attacks on two hotels in the resort city of Grand-Bassam located 25 miles from Abidjan left at least 12 people dead.
"There are no official comments from the authorities yet. There is information that emerges citing police sources that at least 12 people are killed, four of whom are Europeans, but there is no information that some of them are Russians," the representative told RIA Novosti.
