Turkish officials must immediately conduct an impartial investigation into Sunday's terrorist attack in Ankara that killed at least 37 people and injured more than 100, a human rights watchdog urged Turkey in a statement.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Turkish authorities have so far detained ten individuals suspected of being connected to Sunday’s deadly car bombing in Ankara.

"Amnesty International calls on the Turkish authorities to conduct a prompt, impartial and thorough investigation and to bring all those responsible for the bombing to justice in fair trials," the statement said on Monday.

New Intra-Syrian Talks Doomed to Fail Without Kurds - Kurdish Delegate
In recent months, Turkey has seen three terror attacks. Sunday’s bombing comes less than a month after a bomb attack on a military convoy in Ankara killed 28 people and injured dozens of others.

In late 2015, Turkey initiated a military campaign against the PKK and its sympathizers in the country's southeastern, predominantly Kurdish, regions. Since the beginning of the campaign, Ankara has imposed several round-the-clock curfews, preventing civilians from fleeing. Human rights groups worldwide have heavily criticized Turkey for its actions in which numerous civilians have been killed or wounded.
