MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia’s transport watchdog Rostransnadzor will inspect operations of UAE-based FlyDubai low cost carrier in Russia after a deadly crash of its passenger jet, the Russian transport minister said Saturday.
"The inspection of the FlyDubai company’s activities in Russia will be organized by Rostransnadzor in accordance with the existing legislation," Maxim Sokolov told RIA Novosti.
Earlier on Saturday, a FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 crashed on landing in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, killing all 62 people onboard, most of them Russians.
