MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Saturday, the FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 plane coming from Dubai crashed while attempting a landing amid poor weather conditions at the Rostov-on-Don Airport (ROV). All 62 people on board, most of them Russians, died as a result of the incident.
"Bastrykin's arrival is expected [on Sunday], but we cannot say exactly whether he would come to Rostov," the Rostov government spokesman told RIA Novosti.
Representatives of the Russian Investigative Committee, along with various experts, are now working at the scene of the crash, to determine the reason behind the tragedy.
Investigators earlier found the crashed plane's first and second flight data recorders, and its first voice recorder.
The Investigative Committee presented three versions of the cause of the tragedy: a technical fault, severe weather conditions and human error.
