MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The resumption of the work of the Brussels airport in full operation after the recent attack may take months, airport CEO Arnaud Feist said.
"The check-in area is completely out of order, its full restoration may take months," Feist told the L'Echo newspaper in an interview.
On Monday, the airport's press service said the reopening of the Brussels Airport following the terrorist attacks had not been scheduled.
On Saturday, the airport announced that damage analysis has not revealed any structural stability issues in the terminal building.
Two suicide blasts ripped through the Brussels Airport departure hall in the northeastern municipality of Zaventem on March 22. A further explosion occurred at the Maelbeek station near EU institutions. A total of 31 people, including 3 suicide bombers, died in the attacks. More than 300 were injured.
