MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Sunday, Russia 1 TV channel broadcast a documentary alleging Navalny’s activity was funded by the British intelligence, including through the MHG in 2008, as well as pointing at his probable links with CEO of UK-based Hermitage Capital investment fund William Browder.
"I have never received any money from Alexei Navalny and didn’t give any money to Alexei Navalny, although I am well disposed toward him. But I'm not a bank to give someone money," Alexeeva told RIA Novosti on Sunday.
The MHG head added that the organization does not deal with financial operations, such as allocating funds.
The same day, Navalny described allegations against him as "simply fantastic."
