MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier, Russia's Rosenergoatom stated that the security at all state nuclear facilities is constantly maintained at a high level.
"We are ready to share the relevant experience with all interested countries," the statement said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also welcomed the entry into force of the 2005 Amendment to the Convention on Physical Protection of Nuclear Material (CPPNM).
The CPPNM entered into force in 1987, covering international transfer of nuclear material. The new amendment seeks to regulate internal transportation as well as cover the protection of nuclear facilities.
