ISE-SHIMA (Japan), (Sputnik) – On June 23, residents of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, will vote for or against the United Kingdom remaining in the European Union.
"Global growth remains moderate and below potential, while risks of weak growth persist. Escalated geo-political conflicts, terrorism and refugee flows complicate the global economic environment," the G7 leaders said.
They reiterated their commitment to use all policy tools to strengthen global demand and address supply constraints, but warned that certain factors, such as Brexit (UK leaving the EU) would have a serious impact on the world economy.
"A UK exit from the EU would reverse the trend towards greater global trade and investment, and the jobs they create, and is a further serious risk to growth," the G7 leaders explained.
