BANGKOK (Sputnik) — The bus with a driver, his assistant and eleven passengers, which also transported mahogany bars for furniture production, suddenly exploded on the road to the border checkpoint on the Lao-Vietnamese border, according to the Voice TV broadcaster.
The driver and the assistant driver were not injured.
According to the broadcaster, the police found remnants of the exploded fireworks tubes at the scene, but it was not yet known if the fireworks were in the cargo or exploded outside the bus.
