MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the France Info radio citing the country’s interior ministry, 196 of them were placed in custody and eight got prison sentences. Most of them were detained for violence, theft or damage to property.
The Euro-2016 is taking place in various French cities from June 10 to July 10.
On Wednesday, French law enforcement authorities have detained a total of 36 people in the city of Lille.
