MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon reaffirmed at a meeting on Thursday the necessity to continue efforts to resolve crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"The two sides discussed the most pressing issues on the international agenda, including the situation in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Middle East peace process and the fight against international terrorism. The sides agreed on the need to make additional efforts to achieve progress in the soonest settlement of these regional crises. Lavrov stressed that a just and viable solution to these problems requires taking into account the interests of all parties involved," the statement reads.
