MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On Thursday, the United Kingdom held a referendum to determine whether or not the country should leave the European Union. According to the final results, 51.9 percent of voters, or 17.4 million people, decided to support Brexit, while about 16.1 million opposed it.
"Well, it looks like it’s on its way," Trump told during press conference in Scotland when asked whether he would support the European Union breaking up.
Trump, who recently said, that he "would be inclined to leave" if he was the citizen of the United Kingdom, arrived in Scotland on Thursday.
Earlier today, Trump said that Britons took back their country by voting to leave the European Union.
