NEW YORK (Sputnik) — New York City facing no specific threat following the deadly suicide blasts at Istanbul’s Ataturk international airport, a spokesperson for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said.
"There is no specific threat to the city, and the department has already been on high alert, with security tight across New York," a NYPD spokesperson told NBC 4 New York.
Some 60 people have been injured and at least 28 died in a series of blasts at the Ataturk Airport on Tuesday.
