PORT-EN-BESSIN-HUPPAIN (Sputnik) — According to race organizer, the Amaury Sport Organization (ASO) security measures, including inspections at the race start and finish locations will be tightened.
The organizers appealed to all participants of the race, including journalists, to arrive in advance at race's start and finish locations, and be prepared for strict control at the entrance to all sites.
The organizing committee also asked to report all suspicious persons and objects to the gendarmes and security service of the race.
Tour de France, an annual multiple-stage bicycle race is set to take place between July 2-24.
