MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The lecture, entitled "The evolution of world economy: trends and potential" is set to start at 7:00 p.m. local time (16:00 GMT), according to the university. The lecture will be held at the World Trade Center Moscow.
Earlier this week, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that he had no information on whether Page would be received for consultations in the Kremlin.
Page is a founder and managing partner of Global Energy Capital LLC, a New York-based financial institution and investment fund focused on energy investments in developing markets. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations as well as an adjunct associate professor in the Center for Global Affairs at New York University and a fellow at the Center for National Policy in Washington.
Carter has previously served as deputy branch manager of the Merrill Lynch representative office in Moscow. He was also an adviser to Gazprom, RAO UES and other Russian companies.
