WARSAW (Sputnik) – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Saturday called on the global community to promptly create a mechanism of "de-occupation" of Crimea, which rejoined Russia in 2014 following a referendum.
"I remind once again that the Russian aggression started with the occupation of Crimea and could be ended only with Crimea de-occupation. That is why it is so important to launch the international mechanism of de-occupation of Crimea as soon as possible," he said after a NATO-Ukraine Commission meeting in Warsaw.
