ULAANBAATAR (Sputnik) — The 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM11) Summit started in Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar on Thursday and is scheduled to last for two days.
"The main issue on the agenda is connectivity between ASEM members in all areas. Interestingly, it even includes the cultural aspect," Oemar said, adding that "connectivity between us can be achieved just with the change of mindset towards inclusiveness. This is a new thing for an ASEM summit."
"They will issue a joint communique and a chair's statement. There will be two documents as a result of the summit. Senior officials are working on it," he said.
The ASEM is an informal inter-regional dialogue that addresses political, security, financial, economic, social and cultural issues.
