Six Ceasefire Violations Registered in Syria’s Damascus, Aleppo
20:18 GMT 24.07.2016 (Updated: 21:24 GMT 24.07.2016) Six ceasefire violations have been registered in Syria’s Aleppo and Damascus provinces over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the bulletin, Jaysh al-Islam formations shelled with mortars the neighborhoods of Arbil, Jaubar, Harasta, Nashabiyah, Jaur al-Basha in the Damascus province as well as al-Zahraa block in the Aleppo city.
“The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 6 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus and Aleppo province,” the ministry said in a daily bulletin on its website.
Number Of Settlement Joining Syrian Ceasefire Reaches 209
The number of Syrian settlements which have joined the reconciliation process has reached 209, the Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday.
"Within last 24 hours, truce agreements have been signed with representatives of 2 inhabited areas in the Latakia and Aleppo provinces.The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 209," the ministry said in a daily bulletin on its website.
