"Due to the fact that geography of the application of VDV expanded to Arctic regions in recent years, a separate exhibition 'Arctic' will be presented at the forum. Samples of equipment, weapons, military and special vehicles used by units of the Airborne Troops in harsh Arctic conditions, including local heating system, outfits and uniforms will be demonstrated," Shamanov told journalist.
"Amphibious armored personnel carrier BTR-82AM, infantry mobility vehicle GAZ Bobcat, special armored vehicle UAZ-3152 Hussar, 120 mm heavy mortar system 2S12 Sani will be shown," commander added, stressing that a total of 18 military and special vehicles will be at the forum.
The Army-2015 forum attracted over 800 exhibitors and over 200,000 visitors from 73 countries, as well official delegations from 38 countries.
