Khizr Khan, the father of a late Iraq War soldier, spoke at the Democratic National Convention and lambasted Trump for his proposal to limit Muslim immigration from terrorist-afflicted countries and force visitors from there to undergo extra security screening.
Trump responded to Khan’s taunt that he read the constitution, but in the ensuing social media aftermath, interesting factoids have emerged about the late soldier’s father. Khan used to work at a law firm that did Hillary Clinton’s taxes, which also coincidentally is listed as a “foreign agent” for the Saudi government in accordance with the US’ Foreign Agent Registration Act of 1938 because of its overt lobbying efforts on Riyadh’s behalf.
Andrei Fedorov, Russia’s former Deputy Foreign Minister and Director of the Centre for Political Studies (studio guest); Paul Grenier, prominent author and former interpreter for US State Department and Pentagon; and Anton Fedyashin, Professor of History at the American University shared their perspectives.
