It seems like syrniki, which are cooked from cottage cheese, have won everyone's heart. However, no one guessed the true ingredient — some thought it was a polenta-like dish and others ventured that the dish had with potatoes in it.
Milk soup, a typical Russian dish, and cream of wheat were not met with great enthusiasm. "Does Putin eat that for breakfast?" asked one of the gourmands incredulously.
A jelly-like Russian soft drink was not appreciated either. It reminded some of a scarlet fever medicine, but surprisingly very thick. "It would taste better if you add some vodka," concluded another critic.
Which breakfast was considered the most appetizing? Probably the meaty ones: cutlets, cooked with garlic, and a salami sandwich, served with cucumber. At least something was familiar!
