WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Serbia and Kosovo next week for bilateral discussions with the president and prime minister of each country, the White House said in a press release.
"On August 15-17, 2016, the Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will travel to Belgrade, Serbia and Pristina, Kosovo," the release stated on Tuesday.
Biden will meet with Serbian President Thomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic while in Belgrade.
In Kosovo, Biden will hold bilateral talks with President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, and will also attend a dedication ceremony for a road being named after the vice president’s son, Joseph "Beau" Biden, for his contributions to Kosovo.
