Education gap in America, the rise of Charter Schools, and the intersection between the civil rights and immigrant rights.

On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Jeff Canady, United Opt-Out and National Educator to talk all things education as schools start in most American cities. The two discuss standardized testing and the effort for parents and teachers to refuse taking them, poor infrastructure of school buildings across the country, and the continued ways charter schools socially and economically are failing our students.

And later in the show Eugene Puryear is joined by Carl Lipscombe, Policy & Legal Manager, Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) to talk about the intersection between the civil rights movement and the modern movement for immigrant rights, the benefits of an open border policy, and the continued usage of private prisons for immigrant detention.
