KUBINKA (Moscow Region) (Sputnik) — The ongoing Army-2016 expo near Moscow is very successful and impressive in terms of the number of displayed armament units and variety of participating Russian enterprises and organizations, Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradovic, who is heading the Serbian delegation to the event, told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"This is a huge and very successful, in my opinion, exhibition. I have visited many exhibitions and this is very impressive in terms of size and number of items, number of people attending it," Miloradovic said.
He reminded that the Serbian army has been using Russian military equipment for a long time. "We have a very good opinion of this equipment and we are aware of most of the systems that are being exhibited here," he added.
Miloradovic underlined that "there is a number of impressive items, although, it will be difficult to single out one or a couple of them, including ones related to air defense, armored vehicles, the various equipment to be added to armored vehicles."
The Army-2016 forum, organized by the Russian Defense Ministry, kicked off on Tuesday and is due to last through Sunday. The forum is held in the military-themed Patriot Park in Kubinka near Moscow and in a number of locations in Russia's military districts.
