"Now this procedure is absolutely closed and unclear. And conditions for receiving IMF tranche satisfy neither society nor our political power," the leader of the Opposition Bloc, Yuriy Boyko, was quoted as saying on the website of the party.
The issue of tranche allocation was put on agenda of IMF Board of Directors on September 14.
"If Ukraine takes an IMF tranche, a loan, we should understand where this money goes and how to return these loans afterwards," Boyko noted.
Last year, IMF changed its policy on lending to countries that have debts to other governments. It allowed Ukraine to expect further financial aid and raised concerns of Russia over Kiev's debt.
According to Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Moscow opposes the allocation of a new tranche from IMF to Kiev since Ukraine failed to meet the conditions necessarily to receive the tranche and did not achieve concrete results in debt adjustment.
