WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Two Somali community leaders in Minnesota also confirmed the identity of the attacker, CNN reported.
Earlier on Sunday, an off-duty police officer shot dead a suspected attacker who stabbed eight people inside a Minnesota mall. All of the attacker's victims have survived.
Daesh has claimed responsibility for the attack.
