Community members continue to respond to the tragic killings of innocent black men and the failure to finance public defenders.

On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Rev. Dr. Rodney Sadler, Jr. Associate Professor of Bible, Union Presbyterian Seminary and NC NAACP chair for the Healthcare Committee and Rev. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister, All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa react to the killings of black men at the hands of police in America in their respective cities. Issues of poverty, police responses to protest, and race relations are discussed. The group also talk about the 1921 massacre of blacks in Tulsa and the role of media in covering the events as they unfold.

In a special third part host Eugene Puryear is joined by Eli Hager, staff writer for The Marshall Project to talk about broken and under-financed system of public defenders in America, the busing of prisoners, and other subtle ways in which the legal system is unjust.
