Ahmad Khan Rahami was apprehended after a shootout with police in New Jersey, and it was afterwards revealed that he recently spent years in his native Afghanistan and neighboring Pakistan where some people believe that he might have been radicalized.
His capture is now raising questions about the wisdom of accepting immigrants from terrorist-afflicted countries, something which has been a hallmark of Trump’s campaign this season, and it’s also making Americans very concerned that there could be countless more terrorists among them. Hillary and the Democrats’ phobia in directly addressing this problem might also be playing to the electoral advantage of Trump and the Republicans.
