MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia continues preparation for an upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Paris, there is no official information on him not meeting French President Francois Hollande, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

On Sunday, Hollande expressed doubts that a meeting with Putin scheduled for October 19 in Paris would be useful.

“We have no official information for this, the preparation for Putin’s upcoming visit continues, there are planned negotiations in the Elysee Palace,” Peskov told reporters.
