MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday, UKIP's Steven Woolfe reportedly collapsed after receiving a head injury during an altercation with Mike Hookem, another UKIP member, at the meeting in the French city of Strasbourg.
The ITV News broadcaster reported that the party's leadership started inquiry into the alleged clash between the two politicians.
The altercation took place at the European Parliament, where UKIP’s members of the legislative body were invited to a meeting to discuss the leadership crisis and developments in the party. The incident reportedly occurred during the discussion of possible future leader of the party.
The UKIP is currently has no leader after UK Member of the European Parliament Diane James' resignation on October 4.
