GOA (Sputnik) — Creating new work places and boosting intra-BRICS investments with the help of national governments should be the main focus of the group's Business Council at Goa summit, Jose Rubens de la Rosa, Brazil's Chair of the BRICS Business Council, told Sputnik.
"We should focus on investments and job generation intra-BRICS, using the competitive advantages of each country. There is a plenty of room for investments in infrastructure, manufacturing, and also sustainable agribusiness and energy. The national governments should improve the cooperation in order to facilitate investments," Rubens de la Rosa said.
The BRICS Business Council is a platform which serves to promote business, trade and investment ties between the BRICS member states. It was established in 2013 during the Fifth BRICS Summit in South Africa.
