BELGRADE (Sputnik) — The polls published by the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) revealed that DPS had won 41 percent (38 seats) after one-third of the votes had been counted.
Opposition Democratic Front (DF) coalition which was established before the previous elections in 2012 has gathered some 22 percent (20 seats), newly-formed Key Coalition has taken 11 percent (10 seats).
National unicameral parliament, the Skupstina, has 81 seats which will be distributed through the elections in a single nationwide constituency between 17 parties.
According to the Center of Democratic Transition (CDT), the turnout at the elections is about 9 percent higher than during previous elections in 2012.
