Amnesty International have released another damning report highlighting the plight of refugees in Australia’s offshore detention center on the pacific island of Nauru, stating conditions are so bad that many are resorting to self-harm and even suicide. The report comes just 10 days after leaked reports from the UN’s Refugee agency told of the extraordinary levels of mental health disorders among those being held. We speak to an Iranian refugee in Nauru, Eli Shakiba.
