NEW YORK (Sputnik) — Monday marks the beginning of early voting in the US presidential election in some of the key battleground states, according to the official voting calendar.
Colorado, Florida, and Wisconsin are among the states that will offer a chance of early voting beginning on October 24, according to the calendar.
Early voting, that has begun across the United States last week, offers citizens a chance to cast their ballot prior to the day of the election on November 8.
More US voters have been choosing an early option in recent election cycles, local media reports. CBS News estimated that up to 40% of voters may opt for early voting this year.
