MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Iran and Russia have reached significant progress in all spheres of bilateral ties as well as in international issues, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said on Friday during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
“We have significant progress in all spheres of bilateral relations – in political and economic spheres as well as in regional and international issues,” Zarif said.
Zarif and Lavrov are currently holding talks in Moscow, mostly focused on the Syrian crisis. Later, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem will join the discussion.
