WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — According to the Pentagon, three US service members were killed in a shooting at a military base in southern Jordan.
According to reports, US military trainers were fired on when their vehicle failed to stop at the gate of the Al Jafr airbase near the southern town of Mann.
One Jordanian officer was also wounded, apparently shot in the neck by the US service members.
A Department of Defense spokesman told Sputnik that the department was investigating the reports.
