Greek ministers of foreign affairs, defense and finance held on to their jobs after Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras reshuffled the cabinet on Friday, government spokeswoman Olga Gerovasili said.

Greek Prime Minister Changes Government Structure, Establishes New Ministries
ATHENS (Sputnik) — This is the fourth reshuffle since the leftist party Syriza came to power in January 2015.

Euclid Tsakalotos stays as the country’s finance minister to oversee the ongoing negotiations between Athens and its foreign creditors, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Yannis Dragasakis, who is in charge of economic issues.

Nikolaos Kotzias will continue serving as the minister of foreign affairs and Panos Kammenos will remain the chief of national defense.

Gerovasili will be succeeded by Dimitris Tzanakopoulos, Alexis Tsipras' chief of staff. She will become minister of administrative reform.

Energy Minister Panos Skourletis has been appointed interior minister, while Yannis Mouzalas became chief of Greece's migration policy.

Former Minister of State Nikos Pappas has been put in charge of a new ministry of digital policy and will be responsible for the media.
